What a fun and crazy weekend it was! I am sure you all had fun participating in the Super Bowl activities, and while you did that, John and I welcomed our new puppy to our family! She is a Golden Retriever and just so sweet! I cannot wait to watch her and Olive grow together. Besides the usual puppy duties, the hardest part for me has been letting them out since it is so cold out! We really do live in the tundra… It’s so chilly it makes my face hurt. I don’t know how the dogs do it… I look like Ralph from the Christmas Story every time I take them outside and I am still cold! Thank goodness for fireplaces and warm puppy snuggles. But while I slowly wait for winter to come to a halt, (because lets be real, we’re all anxiously awaiting spring) I pretend it is warmer than it is by wearing flats when the temperatures are bearable and when snow is not in the forecast.
When living where we do, sweaters are a must. They are key layering pieces and help keep you warm when needed. Lately, I have been obsessed with this striped sweater. The neutral stripes make it very easy to pair with just about anything—making it a new staple in my wardrobe.
I have worn this sweater so many times since I received it in the mail. Not only is it cute, but I love the cut of it. It hits right at the waist which make it great for pairing with higher waisted pants. And if you’re looking for some new high waisted pants/jeans, check out my last post, here.
I wore this sweater with black jeans, loafers (that have been on mega repeat) a cream coat last seen here, and some fun Baublebar earrings from Target.
